Grouping is the process of combining several objects into one single set of objects. Grouped objects are moved, resized, and rotated as one object. Other effects such as Outlines, Contour Cuts, and Shadows, will apply their effects to the group as though they were one object.
To Group Objects:
- Select the desired objects.
- Do one of the following:
- From the Arrange menu, point to Group and select Group.
- Press Ctrl+G on the keyboard.

- Note that you can select two or more sets of grouped objects and group them as well. Those subgroups will maintain their grouping if ungrouped.
