Adding Swatch Tables/Vendor Swatch Tables

Flexi includes a few default swatch tables and a whole list of vendor swatch tables from numerous manufacturers. 

To add a swatch table to Flexi:

• From the View menu, select Color, and then Open Table.
  
  
• Right-click on any open swatch table and select Open Table.
  
• In the Table folder, select a swatch table.
  • Default is the default swatch table from factory settings.
  • CMYK has a list of full list of CMYK colors incrementing each color by 10%.
  • DC3 DuoSpot is for use with the Summa DC3 foil printer.

A new swatch table will appear the bottom of your screen

To close a swatch table, right-click on the table and select Close.

Vendor Swatch Tables

Beyond the basic swatch tables included in Flexi, most versions of Flexi also include a very large list of vendor specific swatch tables often found in special books or physical swatch booklets they produce.

Every line of ink, film, or foil that a manufacturer makes is represented by a separate swatch table, which lists all of the colors available for that line.

• To display the Open dialog box, do one of the following:
  • From the View menu, select Color, and then Open Table.
    
  • Right-click on any open swatch table and select Open Table.
• In the Library Folder, search the vendor list for a desired color manufacturer. 
• Select the desired color library. For more information on these color libraries, please refer to the manufacturer.

A new swatch table displays along the bottom of your screen.
