Contour Cut Marks for Design

This section is for applying Contour Cut Marks to the Design only. This is not for applying registration marks for cut or plot jobs.

Contour Cut Marks for a limited list of cutters can be added into the design. 

This option is only available for objects containing a contour cut path.

  • Select the objects with a contour cut path
  • Go to Effects and then Contour Cut Mark

  • Select the Registration mark for your cutter from the drop down list in DesignCentral
  • Click Apply.

The following parameters can be changed in DesignCentral:

Mark Type

Changes the type of marks around your contour cut. Provides device specific marks as well as generic marks. If you intend on using them to cut in Flexi, you will need to pick device specific marks.

Margin

Increases the Margin between the marks and the contour cut.

Copies

Creates copies of both the object and the cut line horizontally and vertically, adjusting the marks dynamically.

Horizontal Spacing

Increases the horizontal space between copies. Only available if more than one horizontal copy is used.

Vertical Spacing

Increases the vertical space between copies. Only available if more than one vertical copy is used.

Toggles whether one set of marks is used on the outside of the entire set or whether each copy gets its own set of marks

mceclip11.png Some device specific contour cut marks have additional options. This feature is not available for all marks, and the options available vary widely. Refer to the options for your device.
